I am a whimsical, nature inspired, mixed media artist.

My artwork is an exploration of resilience, renewal, and the healing power of the natural world. Specializing in mixed-media and collage landscapes, frequentlywith birds, insects and animals. I seek out the intersection between human history and the wild environment. My creative process centers entirely around an upcycling philosophy: I rescue discarded print media, including newspapers, books, magazines and dried flowers and weave them directly into my canvases. By transforming these forgotten fragments of the written word into the trunks of blooming trees, the stems of wildflowers, or the ridges of distant mountains, I give new life to old stories. This layering of text and paint creates a deep, tactile texture that invites viewers to step closer and find hidden narratives within the scenery. Ultimately, my mission is to paint to recycle, transforming items of the past into vibrant scenes of nature that offer comfort, peace, and a sense of enduring joy and peace, even during difficult times.
